These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website [www.yourstore.com] (the "Site") and any purchase you make from Vintage Sekai. By browsing the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
1. Who We Are
The Site is operated by Vintage Sekai, with its address at Frederik stangs gate 33 ("we", "us", "our").

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or guardian, to place an order. By ordering, you confirm that the information you give us is accurate and complete.
3. About Our Products
3.1 Vintage and pre-owned items. Most of what we sell is vintage or pre-owned clothing. Every piece has had a previous life, so signs of age and wear are normal and are not defects. This includes light fading, small marks, softened fabric, older stitching and a faint vintage scent.
3.2 One of a kind. Most items are unique, and we usually have only one of each piece. We can't restock or offer exact replacements.
3.3 Descriptions and photos. We do our best to describe each item accurately, including its condition, era, material and measurements, and to photograph noticeable flaws. Colours may look slightly different depending on your screen. Items are photographed as they are, so what you see is what you get.
3.4 Sizing. Vintage sizes differ from modern sizes and labels can be unreliable. Please use the measurements on each product page, not the label size.
3.5 Era and authenticity. Where we state a decade, brand or origin, this is our good-faith assessment based on labels, construction and our experience. Dating vintage clothing is not always exact, so such statements are our honest opinion and not a guarantee. We never knowingly sell counterfeit goods.
4. Orders and Availability
4.1 Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation email and accept your order.
4.2 Because items are unique, an item may occasionally be sold elsewhere (for example, in another marketplace) before your order is processed. If that happens, we will contact you promptly and refund you in full.
4.3 We may refuse or cancel an order if, for example, there is a pricing or description error, we suspect fraud, payment cannot be authorised, or we cannot deliver to your address. If we cancel a paid order, we will refund you in full.
4.4 Items in your cart are not reserved until payment is completed.
5. Prices and Payment
5.1 Prices are shown in € (euro) and include VAT where applicable, unless stated otherwise. Delivery costs are shown before you complete your order.
5.2 We may change prices at any time, but changes won't affect orders we have already confirmed.
5.3 We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers, and we don't store your full card details. Your order is only processed once payment is authorised.
5.4 If we make an obvious pricing mistake, we may cancel the order and refund you in full, even if we've already confirmed it.
6. Delivery
6.1 We deliver to the countries shown at checkout. Estimated delivery times are shown on the Site and are estimates, not guarantees. Unless agreed otherwise, we will deliver within 30 days of the order confirmation.
6.2 We usually dispatch orders within 1-3 working days. Please note that vintage items are packed by hand, and dispatch times may be longer during sales and holidays.
6.3 Risk in the goods passes to you when you (or a person you nominate) receive them. Ownership passes to you once we receive full payment.
6.4 Please check your delivery address carefully. We aren't responsible for delays or losses caused by an incorrect address you provided. If a parcel is returned to us because of that, we may charge reshipment costs.
6.5 Customs and duties. For deliveries outside the EU or to countries with different customs rules, you are responsible for any import duties, taxes and customs fees, unless we tell you otherwise at checkout.
6.6 If your parcel arrives damaged or doesn't arrive, contact us as soon as possible. See Section 9.
7. Returns and Refunds
Returns and refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In short, for customers in Europe you have a 14-day right to cancel for eligible items. You pay return shipping unless the item is faulty or wrongly described. Items must be returned in the same condition as received. Some items, such as unsealed hygiene items and altered or custom pieces, cannot be returned for a change of mind. Your statutory rights are never affected.
8. Your Legal Rights
Nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory consumer rights under the law of the country where you live. This includes your rights to receive goods that match their description and are of satisfactory quality, taking into account that they are second-hand.
9. Faulty, Damaged or Wrongly Described Items
If an item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us at shop@vintagesekai.com with your order number and clear photos as soon as you notice. We will remedy the problem in line with your legal rights and our Return & Refund Policy.
10. Your Account
10.1 You may be able to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account.
10.2 Please tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms or are used fraudulently.
11. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use the Site for anything unlawful or fraudulent
- place orders using stolen payment details or false information
- interfere with the Site's security or operation, or try to gain unauthorised access
- use bots, scrapers or automated tools to collect content or buy stock, unless we've allowed it in writing
- resell items bought from us as if they were sourced independently, or misuse our name or listings to mislead others, without our permission
- copy, reproduce or distribute our content without permission
12. Intellectual Property
12.1 All content on the Site, including photographs, text, product descriptions, logos, graphics, and the design and layout, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws.
12.2 You may view the Site and share links for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, or use our photos or descriptions for any other purpose without our written permission.
12.3 Brand names and labels shown on vintage items belong to their respective owners. We use them only to describe the items we sell. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by those brands.
13. Reviews and User Content
If you post reviews, photos, comments or other content ("User Content"), you confirm that it is truthful, lawful and does not infringe anyone's rights. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display and reproduce your User Content on the Site and in our marketing, and you keep ownership of it. We may remove content that is abusive, misleading, unlawful or otherwise breaches these Terms.
14. Privacy and Data Protection
We handle your personal data according to our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, why, and your rights under applicable data protection law, including the GDPR. By using the Site you acknowledge that policy.
15. Marketing Communications
We only send marketing emails if you have opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. Service messages about your order aren't marketing and will still be sent.
16. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may link to third-party websites, and we use third-party services such as payment providers, carriers and Shopify. We don't control these and aren't responsible for their content, policies or practices. Please read their terms before using them.
17. Availability of the Site
We try to keep the Site available and free from errors, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may suspend or change parts of it for maintenance or other reasons.
18. Limitation of Liability
18.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, intentional misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
18.2 Subject to 18.1 and your statutory rights, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, business or opportunity. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the price you paid for that order.
18.3 We aren't responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control (see Section 19).
19. Events Beyond Our Control
We aren't liable for delay or failure to meet our obligations caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, strikes, carrier or customs delays, war, pandemics, power or internet failures, or government actions. If an event lasts a long time, we will tell you, and you may cancel affected orders for a full refund.
20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force when you place an order applies to that order. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
21. General
- Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Return & Refund Policy and Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us.
- Severability. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
- No waiver. If we don't enforce a right straight away, it doesn't mean we've given it up.
- Assignment. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another business. You may not transfer yours without our consent.
- Language. These Terms are provided in English. Translations are for convenience only.
22. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the federal and state or territorial courts in the jurisdiction where Vintage Sekai is headquartered. You and Vintage Sekai consent to venue and personal jurisdiction in such courts.
